Our History
Oak Grove Preschool and Daycare (OGPD) is a long-established, well respected institution in north Clackamas County, Oregon.
The building was designed and built in 1969 as a state licensed child care center. It has been family run and operated since 1989. It recently (2019) changed ownership from one family to another. Lonny and Cher Gerig (current owners) are both educators and know the importance of early childhood learning.
Our facility is approximately 5000 square feet, has four classrooms, and is licensed for 85 children. We are located on a half-acre lot with 2 large playgrounds; one for the preschool and the other for school age children.
We have an open door policy where parents or guardians are welcome to drop in and visit their child(ren) at any time.
For over 40 years, Oak Grove Preschool and Daycare has cared for the needs of children and working families in our community with utmost care and professionalism. Many original "graduates" are now entrusting us with the care and education of their own children and grandchildren.

We care for ages 2-1/2 to 12 years
Children 2-1/2 years (30 months) and older must be potty trained to be enrolled at our school. Public school transportation is available. Many of the North Clackamas buses, from several of the surrounding schools, pick up and drop off at our front door before and after school, for school age children.
